Tac Radyo Eskwela Radio-Based Instruction Program of the Schools Division of Tacloban City
As we stay safe at home and learning from modules from school. Deped Tacloban City Division is making sure there are no learning Gap for our students. We can now tune in to the local radio station at DYFE 97.5 FM, the lesson schedules will be from 7:00Am to 8:00AM from Monday to Friday (Elementary to Junior High School) and 7:30AM to 8:30AM every Friday (Senior High School).
Don't miss the opportunity of learning from the radio as it discusses activities and lesson from your subjects. Clarification of topics from your module are also being discussed so stay TUNED!

Opening of classes in NTCNHS!
School year 2020-2021 has now begun!
The most awaited moment has arrived! The class is now open, parents are visiting the school per cluster according to their Barangay and teachers are in their uniform, signifying that Deped and NTCNHS has officially started its class.
The opening ceremony started with the normal Monday routine with the flag ceremony, Deped hymn, NTCNHS hymn and Panunumpa bilang isang kawani ng Gobyerno joined by the parents in cluster 1 who also participated.

Following the IATF protocol in social distancing and wearing of face mask and face shield, our teachers and stakeholders were able to carry on with the normal routine.
From the Opening ceremony to the distribution of psychosocial modules/ activity sheets, fliers and books, NTCNHS was able to manage distribution in an orderly manner following the health protocol to avoid contamination and deliver the needed support for our parents and students.
Philippine National Police and Department of Education Tacloban City Division also visited to check the school's activity if we are following the necessary protocols.

Will SHS and JHS graduation and moving up push through amidst the epidemic Covid-19?
Northern Tacloban City National High School Grade 10 and Grade 12 students are wondering if Graduation Ceremony will push through or be cancelled due to Covid-19.
Students are worried and still wondering about their supposed memorable graduation.
Meanwhile, No update has been released yet by Deped Tacloban City wether it will be cancelled or will it be moved to a later date. However, According to Aljazeera.com, President Duterte ordered community quarantine until April 12, 2020. While Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez released an Order (2020-03-017) to intensify the restriction to mitigate the spread of covid-19.
Currently, while students are waiting for their graduation and moving up to show their parents their success. Let us also think of the possibilities of not having the graduation on the scheduled date and moving it on a later time. Let us solve the problem one at a time and after this epidemic ends Deped Tacloban City can decide about the graduation.
